    Absolutely shocked at the state of the office. Well actually it's even an office but a warehouse.
    Got here at 7:30am. Saw about over a hundred people infront of me. The real fun part was that renewals and new applications all queue together for the eye tests where there are only two eye test machines. Brilliant right??
    The state of the warehouse is as such...picture this...are small office where you enter and the guy tells you that you have full in section a, b and d. Once done he directs you through a doorway to an area where they used to fix cars. It has that section of the ground where you can see under the cars or trucks.
    Everyone is now queueing around the walls of the building. There are old finisher and old files dated 2012 just lying in the corner. No chairs to sit on except as you get closers to the eye test room.

    I do remember doing the same wait 5 years ago...nothing changed. As you would imagine..nothing changed in the past 5 years. What's disappointing is that the staff do this every day but won't think of changing the way they work, upgrade the area, buy more eye test machines, design a better system etc...they just let things be...
    Whoever reads this...please be prepared to be shocked if you go there.

    Midrand licence department

    Absolutely shocked at the state of the office. Well actually it's even an office but a warehouse.

    Here is some logic I do not understand.
    The office hours are from half past 7 but you have to be there before 7 to be helped!

    If you try to phone them during office hours, there is no answer either!

    Pathetic service

    Here is some logic I do not understand.
    The office hours are from half past 7 but you have to be there before 7 to be helped!

    My daughter in school said afterwards on our way home she can not get over it, about what the lady told us.
    If a school kid can see how stupid the staff is, what kind of people are working there?

    If you try to phone them during office hours, there is no answer either!

    They will NEVER see us again!

    I have been to the testing station to collects my drivers licence. The lady at the collection was not interested in assisting.     bad disgusting service

    I have been to the testing station to collects my drivers licence. The lady at the collection was not interested in assisting. It was really unprofessional to see all the licence collections were not filed and up to standard. She refused to assist. I have applied for my licence 8 weeks ago. She does not deserve to work at the department for she really does not know job to do her job.bad service we should have this reported on Radio. Really disgusting service

    leaner's license

    Hi please help me at midrand testing centre which system do they use for learner's license is it the old system or computer one?

    I was there to renew my license and what a mission. Besides getting there early you felt very unsafe with roadside vendors.     Very bad

    I was there to renew my license and what a mission. Besides getting there early you felt very unsafe with roadside vendors.     You sacrifice your sleep, to get there before the gates open, and there is already a queue. Some people get turned away and seems only a certain number of forms are available in the morning, so within half an hour of opening, most people are turned away. if you lucky enough to get in, you ave yet to wait, while staff are busy chatting and having their morning coffee, totally ignoring the fact that work hour had started.They are unfriendly, rude and think they are doing you a favour. How such stations stay open, is beyond me

    Not again

    in the congers you get some1 who try to get money out of you. now u must pay to get the help you need. this branch needs to close, its not helpful to the community non what so ever.

    irritated

    DISGUSTED!!!!

    I am appalled at this place. Firstly the staff scream at each other for all to hear. How professional?!
    I have been twice to try book a learners license test for my son. At 9 am you get told we only book in the morning. What is 9am???
    Next day: there at 6:50..... gates closed.... only walk in's allowed. 7:30 the gates are opened. Ask again for a form.... NO you too late it was closed for forms at 7:15. REALLY???? Then you just get brushed off!!
    I will NOT return to MIDRAND!!!

Staff have a glorified complex and you are supposed to just fall in line or they ignore you. I would NEVER go back to this station. The metro needs to seriously look at this station and heads should roll.

    Ineffeciency at Midrand station

    Worst experience ever and still no joy. I went in August to renew my licence and almost TWO months later i haven't gotten any communication that my license is ready for collection. you cannot call the station as non on the numbers work.....

    The staff there have no consideration or empathy. They are cold and heartless and treat people as if they are crap. Staff have a glorified complex and you are supposed to just fall in line or they ignore you. I would NEVER go back to this station. The metro needs to seriously look at this station and heads should roll.

    SERVICE

    YOu have to go and clear some time off your day to get things done. The staff is on a go slow all the time. the queues are always long and there isn't anyone to show you where to go.

    Not my favorite place to be but it's the closest and something we have to get done.

    The last time i went there, there wasn't clear signs telling people where to queue for what. Also the place can be made to look a bit pleasent to the eyes

    Not to Bad

    YOu have to go and clear some time off your day to get things done. The staff is on a go slow all the time. the queues are always long and there isn't anyone to show you where to go.

    Not my favorite place to be but it's the closest and something we have to get done.

    The last time i went there, there wasn't clear signs telling people where to queue for what. Also the place can be made to look a bit pleasent to the eyes
