    To put it plainly - there is no quality of information, no efficiency, no professionalism and no service!!!
    Firstly nobody answers the phone when you call, secondly when you go there you get told that there is a good chance your car will be stolen by the time you come out and thirdly once you are inside nobody knows what they are doing, half the staff are asleep, the other half totally ignore you. You go to the correct queue, but by the time you get to the front, that person is either going on lunch, or going for tea and you get sent to another queue. It is ridiculous how inefficient this place is.

    Hi i have applied for a passport on the 07 January 2015.     Very Poor Service from Home Affrirs Prospection

    Hi i have applied for a passport on the 07 January 2015. Today is the 10 Febuary 2015 and i have not got the passport yet.I am going on holiday on the 20 Febuary 2015. what happens to the money that i have paid for the holiday if my passport is not ready. Home affairs also beats around the bush with me last week when i called they told me the passport i ready when i go to the home affairs its not. I was told that it will take 24 day for my passport to be ready. They then tell me that my money will be lost and can not help me.

    Nobody knows what the hell the are doing. Get people that get work and know their job who can help you.

How is that customer service? If your operating hours are from 8 -12 noon then you should be servicing as many people that walk through the doors during that time. So sick of being given the run around .........

    Poor Service

    Went to this branch this morning at 8.45 am just to be turned away at the gate by the security who informed me that they only see 30 people on a Saturday and that they already had their 30 people in the queue.......how is that possible? How is that customer service? If your operating hours are from 8 -12 noon then you should be servicing as many people that walk through the doors during that time. So sick of being given the run around .........

    Service

    After going to Prospecton Home Affairs twice and sitting for two hours each time I was told the second time when I went to fetch my ID Card that my finger prints are not there I'm old, so they will tell their supervisor who will forward the query to Pretoria and they will phone me in two days, weak six weeks have gone by and I have been trying to phone them but after holding on for 25 mins I gave up. This dept has to be the worst I have ever been to

    Passport

    I want my ID book please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its been 20 weeks already

    Took my daughter to home affairs a week and a half ago for her passport to be told it will take 10 days.Service was poor and staff were rude and unhelpful .Went back last week to get a temporary passport and was told to come back this week but as yet no message has been received as to whether even this is ready and my childs education overseas is dependent on this. Seems like both the temporary and other passport will be ready together so why take the extra money for the temperary one. Going to check today again but most probably will be told to follow a queue for 3 hours to be told again that it is unavailable. Get some order in what you guys do and have an in-service on customer care and satisfaction. Dont leave a guard at the door that has no knowledge about details as this.

    Bad service at Prospecton home affairs

    Absolutely Vile

    The last i went to Home Affairs in prospecton it was THE most unbearable experince. The staff are rude and so disorganised. It's a miracle if you find anyone where they should be and as for the presentation, vile is an underestimation of the state in which it's in.

    Badly run

    If you are prepared to sit for hours waiting for the correct person to be at the correct station then by all means go to this Home Affairs. Nobody knows anything and computers are always down. If you have 2 weeks to spare you might be able to achieve what you went to do.
