THEIRS JUST ONE THING THAT'S BEEN BOTHERING ME ABOUT THE PARK . ALL OVER THE PARK YOU SEE SPEED LIMITS NOT TO BE EXCEEDED . THIS WEEKEND WE ENCOUNTERED ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THAT PEOPLE COME RACING PAST US . ON ALL THREE OCCASIONS IT WASN'T THE PUBLIC . THE FIRST TIME JUST ABOUT 2 KM FROM SATARA A KRUGER PARK VEHICLE CAME RACING PASSED US AND TURNED IN AT THE GATE , WE TRIED TO FOLLOW IT BUT IT DISAPPEARED IN TO A NO ACCESS AREA . THE SECOND VEHICLE WAS A PRIVATE LDV STACKED FULL WITH POTATOES COVER WITH A BLUE SAIL . IT WAS SPEEDING BETWEEN ONDER SABIE AND TSHOKAWANE PICNIC SPOT , IT WAS SWERVING ALL OVER THE ROAD . THE THIRD VEHICLE WAS A WHITE POLICE LDV IT WAS ON ITS WAY BETWEEN TSHOKWANE AND SATARA CAMP , ALSO SPEEDING ALONG THE WAY . MY CONCERN IS WHAT CHANGE DO OUR ANIMALS IN OUR PARK HAVE AGAINST A VEHICLE SPEEDING LIKE THAT . BUT AL NEGATIVE STUFF PUT BEHIND , THE PARK IS A PLACE TO BE WHEN YOU WANT TO BE CLOSE TO NATURE , STAYING IN A TENT AND AS PRIMITIVE AS POSSIBLE . THANKS FOR THE CHANCE TO ENJOY IT.

Beautiful wildlife, gorgeous scenery and a really well looked after park. I have been to the Kruger National Park so many times yet I have still not seen the entire park as it is so vast. Unfortunately there are a lot of tourists who do not understand our wildlife, they seem to get the wrong idea about it and they do make noise whereas I believe we should be quiet and enjoy all the beautiful animals that surround us and treat them with respect, after all we are on their territory.

The Kruger National Park is an immense park containing about every animal one might see in Southern Africa. Many roads are paved which makes the ride less harrowing than in other parks, but visitors are likely to see see almost everything they hope to see. We took a ranger led tour, but it is also possible to drive yourself. . Having been to other parks, Kruger is a first class wildlife experience.

The Kruger National Park has to be one of the most beautiful places to visit in South Africa, and I fully understand why so many tourists insist on visiting here. With parks situated across the Kruger National Park you have a choice of where to stay and what you want to see. Down south, generally speaking, are where you will find the wild dogs. Up north, generally speaking, is where you will find the elephants. In between it is "luck of the draw" and boy oh boy have we been lucky!! From watching "kills" to "feeds", snake eagles stealing snakes out of other birds beaks in flight, spending time learning about the wild dogs from my wife's cousin, Dr Gus Mills, who resided at Skukuza for many years, watching hyena breaking bones of left over impala carcasses, seeing giraffe being born, the list just goes on and on. What is important is what good memories they have all been and how fortunate our daughter was to get to experience seeing the wild in their natural habitat instead of having to visit the zoo!!

The KNP remains one of the most awe-inspiring heritage sights in our country. Going to the KNP can sometimes feel like going back to basics, but sometimes doing just that is exactly what one needs to regroup. People are always friendly in the Park, and it is apparent that it is well looked after. I would advise staying away from the larger camps (such as Skukuza), as they can get very busy.

I always look forward to my stays in the KNP! Not even the luxury game farms have quite the same charm!

What a lovely place to visit. Best time is in winter when the grass is dry and animals all easily visible. All the stops are very clean and pleasant to be in. Also they are not over prices being the only stops in the park. Toilets and general areas are clean and fully serviced.

Clear signs for easy navigation in the park.

Truly a proudly South African place to be in. We were lucky to spot the big 5 on every visit

Nothing takes away your stress than being close to Nature. My visits to the Kruger Park have become part of my fondest memories... The enthusiasm of searching for the animals, to see who spots them first, makes it such a pleasant family experience. The peaceful environment, the friendly staff and awesome commodities are an open invitation to return again and again.

When it comes to Kurger National Park what South African hasn't heard about it and I believe every Soth African should experience it,
I have been a number of time whether you are caravaning/camping to booking into the chalets it is great value for money the staff and game rangers are really friendly, polite and efficient and make you feel at home. The flora and fauna is the best in South Africa and you will see all the Big 5, we even saw a pack of wild dog which is rare sighting, there are many resting spots and lookout points, the park is absolutely huge so you will definately need to visit a few time to see the whole park...... A must visit if you are in south Africa

I've been here twice and on both occasions we've seen the big 5 in one day! Love the variety of animals and watching them in their own environment. You really feel like you visiting them in their home. The is a certain amount of thrill and excitement when you watch a lion eat it's prey and you see the fur red!

Also the rest places are well kept and things are not to expensive being a tourist spot.

The signage is great and you can navigate through the park with ease. Also love the boards at the rest spots telling you where you can see certain animals.

Whether you are a local or a tourist, the Kruger National Park is definetly one of the places to visit. The slow drive (keeping to speed limit)may seem tedious for speed freaks, but the pace allows you to see so many things in nature:the plants, spot the Camouflage animals between the trees. The trip deifinetly kept kids quiet (an added bonus :-).Rest stops are great. You can go as a day visitor or stay in 1 of the fine lodges. This place will keep you coming back, the experience is well worth the trip.
